INTELLIGENT OR SMART PDU
In the earlier tutorials we discussed the Basic, Switched, and the Metered/Monitored PDU. In this tutorial, we are discussing Intelligent or Smart PDU.
The Intelligent or Smart PDU is the new generation Power Distribution, Monitoring and Control Device. It combines all the features of the Basic, Switched, Metered/Monitored PDU. Through a LAN or WAN, the manager can monitor, control and manage the power of the equipment in Data Rooms locally (from the equipment room or another nearby location), or remotely from any location in the world
The NEXION Intelligent or Smart PDU can remotely monitor, control, and manage the following:
Local/Remote Monitoring: Total Load Current (A), Working Voltage (V), Total Power (KW), Energy Consumption (KWH), Frequency, Load Current of each Outlet, On/Off state of each Outlet, Temperature / Humidity State, Smog State, Water Logging, Access Door State.
Local/Remote Control: Power On/Off of the Group, Power On/Off of each outlet, Sequential Power On/Off of each Outlet, Timing of Power On/Off of each Outlet, Environment Control.
